Kaia Mae was commissioned by a family member of mine of his beautiful great granddaughter. Kaia was with us for only 18 months, but left those that knew her, their hearts filled with love, a smile that lit up a room and a rare sense of eternal beauty. Was asked, “why the butterfly?” Butterflies are a deep and powerful representation of life. Many cultures associate the butterfly with our souls. Christian religion sees the butterfly as a symbol of resurrection, endurance, change, hope and life.
