Southport, NC is a favorite place for Joanne and I to visit. While there this past year, 2023, while having dinner a beautiful sunset began to set the evening sky and water in a dramatic splash of color! Snapped a photo and just knew it would be a painting project.
This 10 X 15″ Watercolor study will be the base for a 20 X 42″ oil on gallery wrapped canvas to be started shortly.
