Foggy Night in Charleston is a framed and matted 16 1/2 X 18 1/2″ mixed media (watercolor/colored pencil), 11 X 15″ priced at $250 plus shipping and NC sales tax if applicable. The painting was done as a study for a 20 X 24″ oil on canvas that is now finished.
The original photo was taken in early February after a great dinner in downtown Charleston. As we were crossing an intersection, my eyes turned to the right and noticed the fog gently rolling in creating a interesting composition. With cell phone in hand the picture was snapped. The watercolor and oil painting are my interpretation of the photo and the feelings it generated.
